Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).

Assam Police is set to conduct the physical test for constable (AB-UB) for 6,434 posts. The written test for SI(UB) and others will be conducted after completing the physical test and the result of the physical test.
With physical training, you must prepare for the written test also. After the physical test result, immediately the written test will be conducted. So, you must prepare for both at the same time.
